Offline use and synchronization

Offline use and synchronization

Design an app that keeps working when connectivity drops. Define a synchronization contract for local data, pending actions and conflict resolution.

How to design the workflow

When two devices edit a record, the winning rule is a product decision. Do not resolve money or stock changes with blind last-write-wins. Represent deletions using tombstones and retention periods.

Cost and service boundaries

No offline engine is supplied as a ready replacement for Firebase client SDKs. Implement local storage and synchronization in your app. Include initial sync volume and retries in load testing.

Pre-launch checklist

Validate these steps in your app and with the providers you choose. Measure concurrent load alongside CPU, memory and storage before selecting a plan.

  • Test conflict scenarios with two devices.
  • Clear sensitive local data on sign-out.
  • Define paging and sync cursor lifetime.

Common questions

Is this service available today?

This page describes a service plan and architecture. Managed customer services are not enabled; publication does not activate resources or integrations.

Which plan should I consider?

Consider the resource scope of Pro. This is not a capacity guarantee; validate it against application load and external provider fees.
